The internet is a useful resource for job searching, even if you’re not planning to relocate after graduation. You can use the internet to do company research, learn about professional associations, conduct online networking with individuals in your field,  and find job leads through job banks. Several websites provide information about job search issues.

Check Out Company Websites

Many companies are posting job openings online or on the company website. If you are interested in employment with a specific business or organization, check its website for employment opportunities.  These websites are also invaluable when preparing for networking or interview opportunities.

The Career Services office at Viterbo sponsors a job bank that shares listings with other private colleges in Wisconsin. Check the website frequently at www.viterbo.edu/jobbank to locate employers interested in hiring graduates from Viterbo University and other private colleges and universities. You can also save the search or arrange to have an email sent to you each time a position meeting your criteria is listed.
