For most of you who didn't know, today we had a Nobel Prize winner on our campus today.  This guest was the one and only Ed Prescott who has won the Nobel Prize in Economics.  Mr.. Prescott came to Viterbo University so that he could do a small sort of lecture about economics while giving students and staff the chance to sit with him and eat lunch.  After this lunch and learn, as it was called, Mr.. Prescott spoke in front of my Macroeconomics class.  During the class he told us what he does for a profession and he also allowed the students to ask questions about economics.  It was definitely a great experience and I hope that Mr.. Prescott comes back in the future.
