St. Catherine's Medal Nomination Form
Please note: the nomination deadline for 2013 has passed. Those who would like to nominate for the 2014 award may do so starting February 2014. Thank you!
Viterbo University carries on the Catholic, Franciscan tradition begun by our founders, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. The Viterbo University mission is to prepare students for faithful service and ethical leadership.
The St. Catherine's Medal for Student Achievement is an award that will be given to one to three Viterbo students annually. St. Catherine of Alexandria has long served as an inspiration for individuals who aspire to obtain knowledge and to stand their ground against constraints placed upon them. The medal honors students who represent the high ideals of a Catholic college education; nominators are asked to speak specifically to how the nominee embodies Viterbo’s core values of contemplation, hospitality, integrity, stewardship, and service. The medal will be presented at the Student Leader Recognition Dinner on Monday, March 25, 2013.
Any Viterbo student (graduate or undergraduate) who
has not previously received this award is eligible. Please describe below how this
student has demonstrated any or all of the following criteria. Specific
examples will support your nomination better than general comments. The nomination deadline for 2014 is yet to be determined.
