VITERBO TIES FOR FIRST, LOSES IN PLAYOFF TO UW-EAU CLAIRE

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University men’s golf team cut 11 strokes off of their day one total to finish in a first place tie with UW-Eau Claire at the second annual Viterbo University Ronnie Eastman Invitational.

“What an exciting way to finish the tournament with a team playoff,” commented Head Coach Jim Socha. “Sure, I would have liked to see us win the playoff but to be able to compete with the top teams like we did is a great accomplishment for our guys. UW-Eau Claire is a great team and for us to finish tied with them was great to see.”  more
