Academic Excellence:
At Viterbo, student-athletes will be exactly that--students first and athletes second. We stress the importance of education and working hard in the classroom. Viterbo has an outstanding academic reputation with nearly 2,000 students and more than 40 major fields of study to choose from. Recently named to the College & Character Honor Roll a national initiative of the John Templeton Foundation, for it’s “comprehensive commitment and programs that inspire students to lead ethical and civic-minded lives.” Students enjoy the individual attention received from the faculty and staff that can only be found at a small university. And when you have finished your degree requirements at Viterbo, the school can help you find employment, with a placement rate of well over 90 percent. Last semester, the Viterbo volleyball athletes complied a 3.45 GPA.
Volleyball Excellence:
The Viterbo volleyball program is building a foundation of excellence. The V-Hawks had an extensive preseason and now face a tough fall schedule of 55 total matches. In the off-season the squad will take part in a weight lifting, jump training, and conditioning programs and spring tournaments. The program is seeking TO build a competitive reputation through continuous attention to skill work, intense training sessions, and continuity from one season to the next. To do this, the V-Hawks look for individuals with:
