 VITERBO ANNOUNCES BOWLING COACHING STAFF

La Crosse, Wis. – Viterbo University Athletics Director, Barry Fried, announced today that Jim Socha has been named the head coach of the new men’s and women’s intercollegiate bowling team.  Socha will also continue his role as the head men’s golf coach at Viterbo.   La Crosse native, Nick Heilman, has been hired as the assistant coach for both programs as well.

“Viterbo University is a special place”, commented Socha.  “This is an opportunity for me to work with more student-athletes and be more involved at the university.  The challenge of starting up a new program is something that I am really excited about.  Bowling is a great lifetime sport that an individual can have success at any age.” more
