Viterbo University Boys' Basketball Camps
Summer 2007 Camps
Facilities - The R.W. Beggs, Sr. Gymnasium at the Viterbo Varsity Athletic Center is the site of all men's home basketball games. The 1000 seat gymnasium is equipped with 6 rectangular glass backboards and pro-style break-away rims. The gymnasium's hardwood floor has been tabbed by many as the best floor in La Crosse.
Fee - The Viterbo basketball camps are designed to be affordable for all of the serious basketball players and families. The skills camp is offered for only $75 and includes over 8 hours of instruction, a Viterbo Basketball T-shirt, passes to upcoming Viterbo games, and opportunities to win awards and prizes. The advanced instruction camp is offered for only $95 and include 15 hours of instruction, noon lunches, a Viterbo Basketball T-shirt, passes to upcoming Viterbo games, and opportunities to win awards and prizes.
V-Hawk Value Camps -- Save $20 -- Seventh through ninth graders can combine the Skills Camp with the Advanced Instruction Camp for only $150. The camps this year are designed to allow the serious player to develop that complete game with the two camp experiences.
Supervision/Insurance - Participants will be supervised during the instructional sessions by the coaches and camp staff. However, all athletes are expected to carry their own medical insurance and are reminded to show up in the best possible physical condition. Viterbo will also provide an excess comprehensive medical insurance plan for participants. This plan covers all athletic-related accidents that may incur during instructional sessions in camp.

Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Midwest Exposure Camp
The WBY Exposure Camps bring together top high
school boys’ basketball players for three days of
intense and spirited competition. Participating athletes
receive individualized instruction from winning college
basketball coaches and learn the advanced offensive and
defensive skills required for competition at the
collegiate level. College basketball coaches from
throughout the Midwest attend the camp as spectators to
view the future prospects. For more information please

Camp #1 -- Shooting
and Skills Camp
This camp is geared to the individuals of all levels
and is designed for the individual player to enhance
their skill development. Campers will be divided into
appropriate age levels and skills so that they can
achieve the maximum instruction. The primary goal of this camp
is to improve players' shooting technique through
instruction and drill work. There will also be extensive
instruction and work on post play, as well as coverage
of other fundamental skills such as ball-handling,
passing, and screening.
Camp #2 -- Advanced Instruction Camp
We are offering this camp as a complement to the skills camp and it is an opportunity for individuals to develop the complete game. We will put great emphasis on bringing the offensive and defensive skills together into the team setting. This camp will work towards helping the individual player understand the importance of individual roles in team play. This is a two-session per day camp which will provide lunch and supervision for campers during the lunch hour.
