Lisa Schoenfielder has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking where she studied with Mauricio Lasansky at the University of Iowa. During her graduate program Lisa began working in gifted art programs for elementary, middle and secondary students. Lisa's interest in education led her to continue at the University of Iowa where she completed the doctoral program in art education.
Lisa has been recognized as an outstanding teacher receiving both Viterbo's Advisor of the Year and Alec Chiu Award. She has also served on the Board of Directors at the Pump House Regional Art Center in La Crosse where she also has her students involved as teachers and volunteers. Lisa exhibits her own artwork throughout the United States having participated in more than 70 juried, invitational and one- and two-person exhibitions.
