 Venancio "Vee" Luz is an instructor of graphic design. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Viterbo, and will be completing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2009.
Vee's approach to visual communications challenges has been shaped by the extensive experience he has gained working in various agency and corporate environments, as well as, operating an independent consultancy. His multidisciplinary background has allowed him to apply his graphic design skills to a broad range of print and multimedia applications, and his portfolio represents a diversified body of award-winning work.
Artist's Statement:
What has always excited me about graphic design is the opportunity to evoke emotion to bring a higher level of understanding to a specific visual communications challenge. For me, compelling communications has always been about emotion and feeling—about striving to make a relevant connection to an audience.
