Crisis Intervention
High-risk alcohol and drug use may result in life-threatening medical problems, violent behaviors, or other crisis situations.
In general, the response to an alcohol/drug-related emergency on campus is the same as the response for other emergency situations – call 911 for an ambulance or police.
For serious, but not life-threatening situations on campus, other resources include campus security at ext. 3911, the campus nurse, the residence area coordinator on duty at ext. 3156, the director of student development at ext. 3801, and the campus counselor.
