Meet the Viterbo Voyagers

Jordan Jones

  • Hometown: Marietta, GA Jordan Jones
  • Major: Sociology
  • Campus involvement: Track & Field, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Student Government Association, Platinum Edition, Orientation Leader, Voyager
  • Favorite meal in the Caf?: Best meal in The Caf, hands down, are the omelets at Steve's Stir Fry station.
  • Favorite place on campus and why?: I would have to say my favorite place on campus would have to be the Student Union because it is the place where you are most likely going to see a majority of the people on campus outside of class. Well, that, and it's attached to The Caf.
  • Favorite place or thing to do in La Crosse?: My favorite thing to do in La Crosse is go to Pettibone Beach with friends and hang out or play beach volleyball. Also free movie nights at the Riv can easily make a night.
  • Why I chose VU: What initially attracted me to Viterbo University was the opportunity to continue athletics at a collegiate level as well as being able to have the chance to go to school somewhere new to me outside of my home state. I think the thing that really drew me in the most was how welcomed I felt on campus and how easily it became my home away from home.
  • Advice for prospective students conducting their college search?: Advice I would give is don't freak out and rush your decision. Apply to schools you know you are interested in early so you can take your time in deciding which school actually suits you the best. It is a big decision and you want to know for sure you are making the right one.
