  • Hometown: Caledonia, MN
  • Major: Nursing
  • Minors:  Spanish and Family Studies
  • Campus involvement: Member of Honor's Program, Student Government Association (SGA), Viterbo Student Nurses Association (VSNA), and Voyager.
  • Favorite meal in the caf: I love the food in the caf. My favorite is probably the beef and broccoli stir-fry served over rice from Steve's station.
  • Favorite place on campus and why: I can’t choose one favorite place on campus, but I enjoy going to Einstein’s and the library. I love to grab a coffee and then head to the library to study. Every time that I am in the library, I know that I will be studying with very few distractions. Coffee makes studying so much better.
  • Favorite place or thing to do in La Crosse: My favorite thing to do in La Crosse is to head up to the bluffs or walk down by the river. Even though La Crosse has the city feel, I enjoy getting out in nature and the bluffs and river offer that space. I definitely recommend getting off campus a bit, and enjoy the beautiful La Crosse area!
  • Why I chose VU: I chose Viterbo because it has always felt like home for me. I always felt welcomed, I enjoy the small class size, and the La Crosse area is awesome. The professors really wanted to get to know me even when I was just a prospective student.
  • Advice for prospective students conducting their college search: My advice would be to visit more than once if you need to have those questions answered. Your gut will tell you if it is right or not, so definitely listen to your gut.
  • Career aspirations: I want to be a nurse in Africa or any Spanish speaking company once I graduate for a few years.
