  • Hometown: Sacramento, California
  • Major: Music Theatre
  • Minor: Dance
  • Campus involvement: Improv, Breaking Barriers Diversity Club, Fine Art Center worker, and Voyager.
  • Favorite place on campus and why: Any practice room in the FAC. Yes, I love it because I can sing as loudly as I want, but I also use the private space to relax/center myself/reflect/call my mom. Finding quiet places on campus is super important, in my opinion.
  • Favorite place or thing to do in La Crosse: Downtown is so cute. There are a lot of cool restaurants, but my personal favorite is The Waterfront because it's where my family and I go when they visit. It's a bit pricey, but the food is incredible, and the ambience makes me feel fancy.
  • Favorite meal in the Caf: When Chef Steve makes his chicken quesadillas; they are life-changing, ground-breaking, earth-shattering. Trust me on this one
  • Why I chose VU: When I was auditioning for colleges, Viterbo was the only school to sit me down and ask questions about me, not my material or my training. It seemed like the professors really cared about their students' growth and well-being as people and artists, and now that I'm here, I can honestly say that they do.
  • Advice for prospective students conducting their college search: Think toward the future. For me, my college choice was based on which program/environment would best prepare me for my field and which school would leave me with the least amount of debt. It took time for me to realize that at the end of the day, it's about me and my own concrete skillset, not the specific words on my diploma. In any university setting, you'll learn just as much (if not more) outside of the classroom as you will inside, so pick the school that you believe will make you the best human you can be.
  • Career Aspirations: To perform for a living and work to spread empathy.
