Course Evaluations

For Students

Viterbo University collects student evaluations of the courses they take via an online system called Digital Measures.  These evaluations are used by faculty for class development and are an important component of the promotion and tenure process.

Course evaluations are commonly collected in the last two weeks of a regular academic session, excluding finals week.  For classes that start and end outside of the regular 8 week/semester calendar, evaluations will be collected as close to the end date of the class as possible.

Steps for completing evaluations

  1. Look for the email in your Viterbo email notifying you that evaluations are open.
  2. Log in tohttps://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/viterbo/student with your Viterbo login and password.  If you don’t have a Viterbo email, use your Vitnet login.
  3. Complete evaluations for all classes.

If you do not get the email, you still can log into the website listed above when evaluations are open and complete your evaluation.

For Faculty

Instructions for downloading course evaluations

Course evaluations are collected six times a year in alignment with the 8 week course periods.  Any course with an end date during the eight week period will be evaluated during the last two weeks of that period.  Classes that do not utilize the 8 week/semester-long schedule will be evaluated in the period in which they end.  That may mean a class is evaluated up to six weeks after it ended.

Faculty have access to their course evaluations ten days after grades are due.  Faculty can login at https://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/viterbo/faculty to access evaluations.  Chairs and Deans should use their designated role login.

It is recommended that faculty download or print a copy of their course evaluations from each semester.  Digital Measures and the Vice President of Academic Affairs office retains a copy, but faculty are responsible for ensuring they have access to their evaluations and can provide access for promotion and tenure.
