Part-time Administrative Assistant
Viterbo University seeks qualified candidates for a part-time, 20 hours per week, hourly position for the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling program in the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Behavior.  This individual will be a point of contact for applicants to the MSMHC program; make arrangements for all workshops and meetings, manage daily flow of information and documentation, manage webpages database.

Qualifications: Associate degree required with a minimum of two years relevant office experience. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong understanding of confidentiality; attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is a part-time, twelve month staff position. Hourly Wage: $11.50 per hour.  Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Part-time Security Officer

Viterbo University seeks qualified candidates for a part-time Security Officer. (varying shifts approximately 16 hrs./week, not to exceed 950 hours annually).  This individual would protect students, employees, guests and property; prevent crime and disorder; identify and report hazards to safety and security; confirm emergency response equipment is in working order.  This position is responsible for performing foot patrol in campus facilities and on campus grounds and would carry the back-up security telephone and remain on-call during off-duty hours to assist with emergencies, providing guidance to on-duty security officers, and shift coverage as needed. Overall support would be given to Director of Campus Safety.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimum of one year of experience in related safety, security or law enforcement position(s) and valid driver’s license required.  Work history should demonstrate experience with duties requiring attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, multi-tasking, ability to work with frequent interruptions, and maintaining confidentiality.  If not already licensed as a security officer in Wisconsin, the successful candidate must obtain a Wisconsin security officer license no later than 30 days after his/her first day of employment.

Grant Writer
Viterbo University invites applications for a full-time Grant Writer.  This administrative personnel position reports to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, and will work with the campus community to encourage, facilitate, develop and submit multidisciplinary and multi-collaborative grant proposals to a wide range of funding agencies and organizations.  The position ensures that all submitted materials are of the highest quality and are delivered on time to fully support the University’s mission, core values and institutional priorities.  The position is also responsible for furthering the mission by generating and editing various stewardship letters for advancement communication. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required with Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must have at least three years of working experience and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the proposal and grant application process.  Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills and ability to creatively and effectively use written communication as a relationship-building and fund-raising tool required.

Head Women’s Softball Coach
Viterbo University invites applications for a part-time Head Women’s Softball Coach. This position is responsible for organizing and overseeing all aspects of intercollegiate team including recruiting students, planning practices, scheduling games, managing budget, coordinating travel, monitoring academics and raising funds.  Visit here for a complete job description.

Qualifications:  Bachelors degree required; Master’s preferred.  Background in education, coaching or athletics administration desired.  Experience as a successful high school or college coach preferred.  Understanding and commitment to Catholic and Franciscan values; demonstrated knowledge of the sport and ability to teach fundamentals, skill development and competition strategies; commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes; good written, oral, and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Office.  Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

This is a part-time, 10 month appointment with a salary of $16,000.

Assistant Vice President of Principal Gifts 
Viterbo University invites applications for an Assistant Vice President of Principal Gifts.  The primary responsibility is to strengthen and deepen relationships with major benefactors and potential benefactors by ensuring appropriate cultivation and stewardship events, personal contacts, and recognition opportunities are in place.  The individual will plan and execute individual major and planned gift cultivation and solicitation supporting approved fund-raising priorities at the university. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree and CFRE preferred. At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in front-line fundraising and strong working knowledge of industry best practices relevant to the successful cultivation and solicitation of high-level prospects and benefactors for major and planned gifts within a comprehensive campaign.  Experience preferably will be in higher education, although related experience will also be considered. Ability and willingness to work evening and weekend hours including travel both regionally and nationally is required.
