Freshman Students

New freshman students are required to attend the orientation program called, V-Hawk Orientation Days.  V-Hawk Orientation Days is a weekend full of socializing, academic success tips, discussions about life at Viterbo, and other helpful presentations. These activities are designed to help new freshmen become better acquainted with the La Crosse community, Viterbo's campus, and staff.  Research shows, students who attend orientation are more successful in college.  It is for that reason that attendance is required throughout the weekend.

The most popular component of V-Hawk Orientation Days is the orientation team. This team is led by two orientation leaders, experienced students trained to help new students meet other students and to assist new students with any questions or concerns. Oftentimes the most lasting friendships are formed during the first days of the collegiate experience, at orientation.

This program is separate from STAR registration and occurs Friday, August 22, Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, 2014.  An invitation will be mailed to all registered, full-time, new freshmen students in July of 2014.  A detailed schedule of activities will be given to students on the first day of the program, Friday, August 22.

PLEASE ADVISE: Orientation Brochure and Orientation Option is being UPDATED for 2014.
