Submission Guidelines

The editors are looking for articles that address the concerns specified under the journal’s mission statement. As a rule, the journal accepts only original articles that have not been previously published. The articles should be written in a scholarly style yet accessible to a widevariety of audiences and readers, some of whom may not have professional training in academic philosophy.

Analytic Teaching and Philosophical Praxis (ATPP) is an online journal that is usually published twice a year, but this can vary depending on the number of submissions and the number of "calls for papers."

Periodically ATPP may publish a hard copy of certain volumes and mail these to interested institutions and individuals on a complimentary basis, but this is dependent on a number of factors.

Article submissions should follow a standardized reference format (Chicago manual of style—format references as endnotes or APA or MLA with accompanying Works Cited). Articles should be approximately 4,000–8,000 words, emailed as a Word document or RTF, and prepared for "blind-review" (with author’s name and institutional affiliation appearing on a separate page).
