The Viterbo online bachelor of science in criminal justice administration degree is designed for students who wish to enter the criminal justice field or expand their career options in criminal justice and law enforcement.  This degree will prepare you to move into a position of leadership in your field. 

Viterbo University's criminal justice administration program includes courses in criminology, criminal law, interviewing and report writing, administration of justice, ethics in criminal justice, sociology, the American judicial system, investigative techniques, crime and delinquency, juvenile justice, managing and leading.  Upon completion of your Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration degree program, you can be prepared for leadership positions working in:

Even though our program is offered fully online, our faculty on campus in La Crosse, Wisconsin are here to help you achieve your goal of completing a Bachelor's degree. Viterbo University takes pride in having very accessible faculty who are experienced in the criminal justice field.  Unlike other criminal justice degree programs, this degree will help you build the leadership skills you need to advance in your career and take on roles with greater administrative responsibilities.  You will be able to immediately utilize the skills you learn to create strategies that will keep various populations safe.

The online criminal justice administration Bachelor’s degree program at Viterbo University offers:

  • Classes in a fully online format in eight-week terms
  • Entry into the program six times per year: in August, October, January, March, May and July
  • The ability to take classes on a full-time or part-time basis
  • A generous policy that allows you to transfer credits earned at Wisconsin technical colleges and selected Iowa and Minnesota schools under agreements with these specific institutions
  • The ability to transfer into this degree program even without an associate degree in criminal justice, by taking a small set of prerequisite courses which are also offered online
  • The ability to enter (upon completion) a Master's degree program (such as Viterbo University's Master of Business Administration or Master of Arts in Servant Leadership)
