- Step
One: You are an investigative reporter trying to find some of the
good that shone through during the Nazi invasion. Search the web
addresses made available to you under resources on this Web Quest.
- Step
Two: Choose a person or a group of people that aided the people
persecuted by the Nazis between the years of 1930-1945, from one of
these web sites.
- Step
Three: You will be answering the following list of questions to
get the preliminary for your paper.
- What
is the name or names of the people who helped the persecuted people?
- What
race or ethnicity was the group of people being helped and why is this
important or why was this dangerous for the people doing the helping?
- What
did this person(s) do to help the people, i.e. hide them, give them
jobs?
- What
were the consequences of getting caught doing this?
- What
motivated these people to help?
- Would
you have helped in these circumstances? Why or why not?
- Step
Four: Construct a 3-5 page paper that includes facts and opinions
supported by facts. The paper should include the following:
- Introduction
- At
least four opinions supported by facts should be present in the body of
the paper.

Five: Your paper will be evaluated using the rubric located in
the evaluation section of this Web Quest.

Six: Prepare a 5 to 10 minute presentation briefly answering the
questions from the paper.
