Introduction

In 8th grade while reading in my hands:  memories of a holocaust rescuer by Irene Gut Opdyke with Jennifer Armstrong for Language Arts, the Holocaust is being studied in Social Studies.  The focus in social studies will revolve around the concept found in the book.  We are studying the different stories of the holocaust rescuers, who saved many people's lives during the Nazi invasion.  This Web Quest will give you an opportunity to understand what events persecuted people experienced during the time of the Holocaust.  It will also allow you to see the some of the acts of unbelievable kindness that came from such a horrific event in the world's history.
