The Title III Project provides funds to the University over five years for improving academic quality by strengthening the learner-centered nature of the curriculum. The grant project increases Viterbo's institutional effectiveness and impact by implementing a comprehensive program of organizational change. The primary goals are to improve academic programs college wide through outcome oriented curricular reform and to improve teaching and learning through faculty development.

  • 10/10/07 - Congratulations to Biology!
    From everyone in Title III, we send congratulations to several members of the Biology Department who were funded by Title III to present last week at the 51st Annual Meeting of the Association of College & University Biology Educators Learning by Doing: Integrating Teaching and Research in the Biology Classroom at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.

    Congratulations to Phyllis Blackstone, Associate Professor of Education, who will be presenting her work on literacy coaching entitled “The Use of Storytelling in Coaching” at the POD Conference this month in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.


     

  • 10/5/07 - Congratulations to Social Work!
    Also, we send our congratulations to Deb Daehn-Zellmer, Connie Fossen and Jenny Anderson-Meger of Social Work, who are presenting three individual posters this week at the Lily West North Conference in Traverse City, Michigan.

  • 7/20/07 - Active Learning and Technology Project Work Report Due August 17
    For those faculty members who have undertaken, or plan to undertake, large-scale technology projects with Title III, an additional work report must be completed.  This Active Learning and Technology Project Work Report (aka, Work Report 5) should be submitted to Theresa Moore by no later than Friday, August 17th.  If you are uncertain as to whether you need to complete this Work Report, please contact Theresa Moore at trmoore@viterbo.edu or ext. 3392.
