What courses do you teach?
Lifespan Development, Interviewing and Helping Relations, Human Sexuality, and Family Therapy. I also now teach in the Graduate program for counseling, teaching the "Counseling through the Lifespan" course.
How long have you been teaching at Viterbo University?
What is something you do in the classroom that has proven effective?
I am a believer in application-based learning, so we do small group and large group activities. I encourage my students to be active participants in their education.
What is something you do outside of the classroom (e.g. scholarly work, research, publication)?
I am a Marriage & Family Therapist and spend my time in private practice seeing clients, mostly couples, as well as supervising new therapists in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.
What is something you do for fun (e.g. hobbies, interests beyond teaching)?
All things family! I love vacationing and exploring new places, coffee, crafting, spending time with my sweet dogs, reading, hiking and movies.
