Special Events

Each semester the Career Services office sponsors career-related special events.  Watch for posters and VU Today announcements for upcoming special events. In addition, a few of the regularly scheduled events are described below:

Career Readiness Certification Series

Pre-registration is required for some events and encouraged for others. Contact Career Services at with questions about the registration process.

Workforce Job and Internship Fair

On February 23, 2015, the Career Services will sponsor a free charter bus to Milwaukee for the WorkForce Career Fair. This fair is open only to students and alumni of the Wisconsin Private Colleges. There are typically 100+ regional/national employers and graduate schools represented. This is the premier event for Viterbo students to speak with recruiters about jobs, internships, and graduate programs. The bus will leave Viterbo at around noon and return by 10 p.m. Pre-registration is required.

Nursing Career Fair

Each November, a nursing career fair is held on campus, offering nursing students the opportunity to gather information about nursing internships and new graduate nurse employment opportunities.  

Speed Mock Interviewing

Alumni and area human resource professionals provide students with opportunities to practice interviewing skills in a speed dating format. Speed Mock Interviewing is co-sponsored by the Alumni Association and Career Services. The next session is March 24, 2015.
