Vicente Guillot named Teacher of the Year
Vicente Guillot, associate professor of world languages and cultures, was named
Viterbo’s 2013 Teacher of the Year at the annual Rose Awards ceremony May 2.
“When looking back on my Viterbo
education, I can proudly say that Vicente will be a professor I will never
forget, not only for the wonderful lessons be has taught me in the classroom,
but for showing me a great passion for education and the world around us,”
wrote one student who nominated him for the award.

Gene Alberts named Employee of the Year
Gene Alberts, assistant vice
president of finance, was named Employee of the Year.
“Gene is a quiet leader on our
campus,” wrote the person who nominated him. “He is very professional in his
interactions and he plays a very important role serving as a steward of our
resources at Viterbo. Gene is someone I can turn to when I have a problem, and
he helps me solve it efficiently.”
