Vee Luz named Teacher of the Year
 Vee Luz, communication studies, was named Viterbo’s 2011 Teacher of the Year at the annual Rose Awards
ceremony May 5.
“Vee has pushed me and every single student in my classes to do our
very best,” wrote one student who nominated him for the award. “He
always makes me think outside the box and he encourages me to do better
than I normally would on my own.”

Jane Eddy named Employee of the Year
 Jane Eddy, coordinator of the Learning Center, was named Employee of
the Year at the annual Rose Awards
ceremony May 5.
“Jane goes above and beyond when searching for solutions to issues
arising from disabilities,” wrote the person who nominated her.
