Employment Application Questions:

Q:  When do I complete the employment application?
A:  The Employment Application should be completed only if there is a position advertised.  We do not accept or keep “blind” general applications.

Q:  Do I submit the employment application even if I have a resumé/vita available?
A:  Yes, the employment application must accompany all application materials submitted to the Human Resources Office.

Q:  Do you prefer my application materials be sent through the mail or emailed?
A:  With today’s technology, emailing your application materials is the quickest, most efficient format.  Please note that if you email files, put the position title in the subject line.  This will prevent it from being deleted as spam.

Q:  What happens once you receive my application materials?
A:  The Affirmative Action Officer will mail you a Pre-Employment Form acknowledging receipt. The completion of this form is optional.  Your application materials are logged in and reviewed by a search and screen committee.  Often times we will perform phone interviews during this screening process. If you are chosen for an on-campus interview you will be contacted by phone to make the arrangements.
